The last sixteen years have been such a fabulous adventure for me and it is bittersweet to say goodbye to Lynden Gallery. It has always been my dream to be an interior designer, with picture framing and gallery directorship an satisfying and engaging detour. I've been so blessed by the steady stream of interesting, intelligent, passionate art connoisseurs who have fed me, heart and soul. And I know many, many of you will continue to extend your friendship as I take my leave.
Last week I was surprised to find a long-time client offering me a position it took only the drive home to realize I absolutely wanted to take. Not a shred of doubt has clouded this resolve, as I dive in to settle the affairs of Lynden Gallery to give myself 100% to the new road ahead. I would love nothing more than to sell the gallery and/or frameshop and see it continue as part of the fabric of Downtown Elizabethtown, and the surrounding arts community.

Lynden Gallery was established in 2000 initially in partnership with Lancaster Galleries as Lancaster Galleries West. The gallery includes a 2000 sq/ft store front with 1500 sq/ft working frameshop, and 500 sq/ft retail space. Established, exceptional Frameshop Manager, David Patton has 30+ years experience would entertain an offer to stay on with a new owner. Prior to opening the downtown gallery she operated Bedenbaugh Designs Studio and Framery since 1992 out of her Victorian home further south on Market Street. She will continue to reside in Elizabethtown.
